Diet

As with most companion parrots, a pelleted base diet supplemented with fresh vegetables and limited fruit is recommended, with avocado, chocolate, caffeine, and alcohol avoided entirely.

Housing Considerations

Despite their smaller size, Conures are active and benefit from a cage larger than their body size might suggest, with room to climb, play, and use multiple perches and toys.
